While I am relatively new to photography, travel has been an integral part of my life.  My career has taken me to hundreds of America's Native American communities in the lower 48 states, Alaska and Hawaii; over half of the National Park units; and, in the past 15 years, over 110 countries.

As I experienced so many beautiful and interesting places and people, I began capturing those moments digitally.  Starting with just a small point and shoot camera, my craft has slowly evolved to what you see in this gallery of images.

While my focus is on natural beauty, landscapes, the ocean and natural wonders, I also seek to capture images of people and cultures that remain hidden to much of the world.  Interesting and well-known features of cityscapes are also a common element in my images.

Based in the western United States, I have yet to encounter a border that I'm not interested in crossing or a land that is off-limits.
